How We Review: The NEWJILIGAME Desk Method
The desk sorts slots by volatility because a provider's game sheet states it and a reader can confirm it. Operators are harder: they publish less, and what they publish can change overnight. This page sets out the method used anyway, and its limits. NEWJILIGAME is an independent guide, not a casino; it takes no deposits and runs no games. For readers aged 21+.
Two kinds of statement
Every sentence about an operator on this site is one of two kinds. A documented statement repeats something written on the operator's own pages or on a regulator's public list on the day it was read. An undocumented statement would be anything else: how fast a payout arrived, how polite support was, how a dispute ended. The desk publishes only the first kind.
That is why you will not find star ratings, a "top ten" or a recommended pick. Ranking operators would require measurements that no outside desk has.
The seven criteria
| Criterion | The question asked | A documented answer looks like |
|---|---|---|
| Licence disclosure | Who holds the licence, and from which regulator? | A company name that also appears on the regulator's list |
| Payment rails | Which named rails carry deposits and withdrawals? | E-wallets and bank rails listed in the cashier |
| Terms clarity | Can the bonus cost be worked out in pesos? | Wagering multiple, eligible games, maximum bet and expiry all stated |
| KYC rules | When is identity checked, and with what? | A verification page listing accepted documents |
| Complaint route | Where does a dispute go after support? | A written procedure naming the next step |
| Responsible-gaming tools | Can a player limit or exclude themselves? | Deposit limits, time-out and self-exclusion in the account area |
| Support and app distribution | How is help reached, and how is the app delivered? | Channels on the site itself; a store listing, own-domain file or web only |
Notes on the first three
A licence badge is decoration until a name is attached. The desk records the company named and whether that name was on PAGCOR's published list when checked. It cannot promise the entry will still be there later, and it says so.
For payments, the desk separates the rail from the operator. InstaPay is a real-time rail with a cap on each transaction. PESONet clears in batches on banking days, so a transfer sent late on a Friday will not behave like one sent on a Tuesday morning. Those are public facts. The time an operator spends approving a request before it touches the rail is set by the operator: check its cashier page.
On terms, the desk looks for the four numbers that decide what a bonus costs. If any is absent, the description says "not stated" rather than estimating.
Notes on the rest
KYC is recorded as written: which documents, at what stage. Whether a particular player's documents will be accepted is not something a guide can know.
A complaint route counts only if it is published before a dispute arises. Responsible-gaming tools count only if a player can switch them on without asking permission. Support channels and app delivery are noted because they shape risk: a lobby that hands out installers through chat groups exposes its players to fakes in a way a store listing does not.
What the desk cannot verify
- Whether a withdrawal will be paid, or how quickly.
- Whether a domain using a brand name belongs to the licensed company.
- Whether terms are applied as written.
- Whether support will answer on a given day.
The desk does not open test accounts and report results as proof. One smooth transaction says little about the next player's experience, and presenting it as evidence would mislead.
Partner links and independence
Some outbound links are partner links, which means the site may earn a commission if a reader registers. Commission does not alter wording. No operator can pay for a criterion to be dropped, for a caveat to be softened or for a position on a page. Because nothing is ranked, there is no position to sell.
Dates and corrections
Each page shows when it was last modified. If an operator's page now says something different from this site, trust the operator's page and tell the desk, using the contact details on the About page. Corrections are made in the body text.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is a description the same as a recommendation?
No. It is a record of what an operator has published. The decision, and the checks behind it, remain yours.
Why not test withdrawals and report the time?
A single result would look like a fact and behave like an anecdote. Processing times are set by the operator and belong on its cashier page.
Do partner links change what is written?
No. They are disclosed, and they do not buy wording, order or omissions.
